Wow, that is pretty awesome! It's an original version megadrive/genesis as well!

How do you turn it on/off? Do you have to unscrew/remove the top?

edit: OT: I don't have a launch PS3, but my FF13 PS3 slim is working fine. Although, the last time I tried to play Uncharted 2 the game just went to a "black screen" and nothing happened, I don't know why? Ejecting the game put me back on the ps3 menu. It was the first and only time I've tried the game...

My launch 60GB died on Sunday. my 120 is still going strong, but that's only a bit more then a year old. Crazy thing, it died after playing Super Stardust for a while. Was playing for around an hour after downloading it as part of the welcome back package. I turned the PS3 off for a while to do some things around the house. Then after about another hour, went and turned it back on. Right after loading the game up it died and now won't turn on. I still have inFamous stuck in the drive also as I was replaying that before buying the sequel. Now I'm totally bummed.

My launch ps3 died a few months after the slim came out which was surprising considering the amount of hours I poured into that thing. I thought it would've died much sooner than that.

I did not get my PS3 on launch but a couple of months later, anyways it YLOD 2 Thursdays ago, but this morning I got an email telling me they shipped it back to me today.

I've had my 60 gb PS3 from oct 2007 and it still works today, still plays quietly. the fan noise is low

My 60GB is still running good. Use it almost daily. I've never heard of anyone's PS3 dying in real life.

I've only personally had a dead Atari 2600, and a launch Japanese PSX's cdrom start to act flakey (ie DRE) I've had friends with PS2's with DRE, and XBOX 360's with RROD though.

You should have included a Yes, but after a repair and or a warranty replacement. For myself both my 20 and 60 Gigs YLOD'd, but I get them to work by reflowing them when needed.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
