well I'm gonna play a bit of devils advocate here.
I'm not saying what he did was right..he shouldn't have said that on twitter
BUT I also think some reviewers cross the line sometimes in their reviews. Being a bit respectful to the makers even if you don't like the game should be the way to go. and I haven't read a single review for the game so I dunno what he is referring to BUT I wouldn't be surprised if some reviewers were overly harsh on the game (not the score, the review itself)

Exactly. Heavily sponsor the sites, then lean on them to fire the reviewers who go against the game. Much more subtle

i agree with 2k games on this, i love duke nukem forever. it reminds me of the good old days, like serious sam,doom,quake. just pure shooting,laugher,blood and fun, that is what duke nukem is all about and i think all the idiot reviewers out there are trying too compare it with todays fps games and u cant do that with the duke, didnt work back then and definitely wont work today either.
my score for the game is : 8.6/10
