It's the longest boss fight in the game, (Counting the manbearpig and the tennis game w/ Ganondorf as separate bosses, of course.) and you can spend virtually the entirety of it just standing still holding down the 'Z' trigger and the 'R' button, and occasionally sidestepping a fireball.
It doesn't help that they (Or... she. Whatever.) cast the wrong element six times in a row, or that their voices make me want to mutilate infant animals.
Mr Khan: I have considered that possibility, myself. Twilight Princess does say that 'sorcerers' (the not-yet Twili) invaded Hyrule. The game also speaks of a race of sky-dwellers who created Hyrule... We'll see if the Escher-inspired, comical little foils from. Twilight Princess show up in this game as well. It is also worth noting that the Royal Family's crest, worn by Zelda in Skyward Sword, is just one of many (family?) bird-inspired insignia worn by the people of Skyloft.
I think it is fairly obvious at this point that Skyward Sword is setting itself up to be a direct prequel to Twilight Princess as well as an origin story. Nearly all of the mainline Zeldas have actually been origin stories - ALttP was the origin story of the Triforce, OoT was the origin story of Ganondorf, and now Skyward Sword is the origin story of the Master Sword, and seemingly Hyrule itself. Still, who knows until the game is out (and beyond), right?
Speaking of Ganondorf... One (final?) note on Ocarina of Time: I admire the way the designers handle progression during the Ganondorf battle. Ganondorf does get faster and more aggressive as he takes damage, but the real difference comes from the fact that he knocks out pieces of the floor, which not only takes advantage of the 3D environment, but works indirectly to change the of the context of the battle (with input from the player), and is a more subtle way than usual of making the fight more difficult as time goes on.
Finally, I'm pleased to say I am making great progress in Link's Awakening. Koizumi's humor and sense of drama is right up my alley, and think I'm beginning to understand why the game is considered such a classic, even amongst the developers.

The atmosphere really sets it for me, the fight is rather epic, but hey everyone has their least favorite boss, mine would be...uhh I like them all lol

Well, not a direct prequel (chronologically pre-OoT post-Minish Cap in the Unified timeline, whereas TP sits between Majora's Mask and LttP in the Child Line), but one at least that does explain many of the elements found in TP
The Iron Knuckle is only tough to fight before you knock that first bit of armor off, as after that it flinches to your jump attacks even as a kid.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Playing TP. Not very exciting, the game is so helish boring in the beggining I never want to start another file again. I am at the forest temple. Monkeys are annoying.

Above: still the best game of the year.

I think it's a nice first dungeon. I dig it. The monkey element was unique.
