So how long do you guys think we have to wait? If Retro is busy making another game for WiiU do you think another developer will make it? Who do you think will be best suited for it?

If Nintendo outsources it to a 3^rd party I would love it if Valve had a go on it! Or maybe even 2K games they guys who made Bioshock.

I really want to see how this baby will look and play in high polygonal environments (I say that as HD does not necessarily mean more polygons :P)  

That Battle Mii on the Wii U was kind of like Metroid... Maybe it was a hint...

Based on this, and the fact that I think they're gonna want to take a teeny break, I think it'll be another 3 years (it's 2011 now) until we get another Metroid

I don't think they are in a rush to make a new Metroid. We will probably see one, but late in the WiiU's life. They will give it a break like they did after Super Metroid. As for the developer, I think that Platinum Games, or EAD3 could make it good
