Chrono Cross' soundtrack is in my top 3, this has gone from "Hmmm I wonder what this will be" to "I'm pre-ordering this game!"
edit: And that's my favourite piece in the track! I literally listen to that almost every day that I code.

Haha! Suckers! I'm getting a white one!
I know you posted this news before but the video is really fun too. |
Yeah that's definitely a catgator, the guy down the block from me has one :-/
I'm proud to announce we have a new Vita game!
Starlight Inception just got funded on kickstarter, against all the odds.

Starlight Inception is a realistic and relevant 1st person (both with cockpit and without) / 3rd person strategic and tactical space combat experience. It has a unique blend of action with an involving storyline. Features include ship based combat both in space and on planets and moons, interplanetary exploration, and multiplayer dogfighting.
You will collect space fighters in the same way that you collect cars in Gran Turismo, and you'll have a similarly deep level of configuration and tuning of ship's systems, both before combat and during a mission. You'll be controlling your power and ship's systems, deciding where to allocate precious energy while you're defending, sneaking past capital ships and engaging bases and enemy fighters. You'll be fighting in space, as well as over planetary environments.
And I get a copy for funding with a measly $15!

I hope more kickstarter become successful. I am sitll bummed about the monkeypaw's kickstarter.
@ the soul sacrifice
I am little bit disappointed that it's the Inafune game not because Inafune is making the game but because i wanted 2 Vita games.
Soul sacrifice and Inafune game.

Hell yeah! Thanks for bringing the good news Sal :D MOAR GOOD VITA NEWS! MOOOOOAR!
@Chev: Yep :D Some great vita news to catch up for ya
@Noctis: It was pointed over at gaf that this may indeed not be his only game in the works. Apparently at GDC he has mentioned he is going to introduce a new hero from Japan and this game doesn't look like it's gonna fit that bill ;)

Andriasang on Soul Sacrifice:
Weekly Famitsu lists the following sacrificial magics. While we listed these as summons earlier, they appear to be just magic attacks.
Excalibur: You stick your hand down your throat, pull out your spinal cord, and use this as your sword. (!!!!)
Gleipnir: Chop off your five fingers and perform a punch with your extended bones.
Gorgon: Pull out your eyeballs, and use them to blast out magic beams
Gungnir: Your bones and nerves emerge from your body and attack
Why would you torture yourself to kill your foes? This is actually part of the background story. You play as a slave who serves a cruel sorcerer.
It appears that you may be fighting people like yourself. Screenshots show massive creatures who apparently used their powerful magic too much and lost their human form.
There are still a few unclear areas about Soul Sacrifice -- for instance, if you chop your fingers off, do they come back? -- but we'll hopefully get additional details later in the day or at tomorrow's unveiling press conference.
Famitsu lists Soul Sacrifice as 50% complete. The game is due for release this Winter.

Konami released its standard proportion baseball game, Pro Baseball Spirits, on the full suite of PlayStation platforms this year. It will be doing the same for the latest installment of its big headed baseball game, Powerful Pro Baseball.
Weekly Famitsu reports this week that Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2012 will be released on PS3, PSV and PSP. All versions will have a Success Mode, complete with a college baseball component. The PS3 and PSV version will have a new "Pawasuta" (presumably Power Star) mode which makes use of network functionality.
According to Sinobi, which provided us with this pro flying get info, Famitsu does not list a release date for the game. Last year's PS3 and PSP installment was released in July (see this page for screens and details).

damn..and people thought God of war 3 was violent >_>
