Noticed that Vita went from expecting a ~166k BOMBA to a 200k+ NPD, just a possible ~15-30k behind 3DS for the month.
Vita has now gone (In the eyes of many here) from being "Dead" to doing "Poor", all while a handheld selling ~30k more at $90-$140 less doing "Very good", even though that other console has already brought out the big guns.
I love VGChartz!
Still getting whooped big time in Japan though.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Is it? Well to be fair, globbaly the 3DS is a beast, so it's easier to see the positive in the numbers, while the Vita is not. Plus, according to VGC (and probably true-ish), the Vita is still trending down, whil the 3DS is not, so DOOMED.
The vita needs system sellers that's for sure.

I was talking about the 3DS when I said it was doing "Very good".
I was just trying to make a point and wondering why certain posters on this site say nothing about 3DS outselling the Vita in the US by just ~6-10k per week in the US during March and saying nothing about it's numbers, or saying they are "alright" and then saying the Vita is doing "Terrible", yet the 3DS has released it's big guns like Mario and Mario Kart and retails for $80-$130 cheaper (Depending on the Vita model).
Edit - After re-reading your post I believe you were also referring to the 3DS numbers when you said "Is it?"

Yeah, nice to see some crow eating from Vita's doom-and-gloomers. Best wishes to this console, it'll do well anyway. Can't wait to get one soon! ;)
An interesting tidbit on psu.com, although there doesn't seem to be a source for it. It says that Sony released some info that said Motorstorm RC is downloaded 19 times every minute. Now, the Vita version is still free, so it's undoubtedly going to be downloaded a lot...

I reckon they're making a handy profit from this one, there's a ton of DLC getting added to the store every week and they're able to charge 50p or something per vehicle, which is essentially a miniscule piece of data, about the size of the car skins you downloaded free on previous Motorstorms. Also helps that the game is a ton of fun, reminds me of the micromachines games on gameboy and gamecube.
Also interesting news, thought Kickstarter would only be used for PC games? Here's Starlight Inception, a possible PSN title, you only have to donate $15 and you're guaranteed a copy (if it gets funded):
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/732317316/starlight-inceptiontm
Starlight Inception is a space combat experience with modern elements of strategy and tactics.
You assume the role of a young space fighter pilot assigned to the star carrier U.S.F. Independence, deploying to hotspots throughout the Solar System during World War IV.
Starlight Inception is a realistic and relevant 1st person / 3rd person free-roaming space combat experience. It has a unique blend of action with an involving storyline. Features include ship based combat both in space and on planets and moons, interplanetary exploration, and multiplayer dogfighting

Extremely interesting set of facts here
Fans of the critically-acclaimed, fast-paced racing title MotorStorm: RC are creating PSN friendships, new challenges and Trophies quicker than ever before Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has revealed.
Available on PlayStation 3 (PS3) and PlayStation Vita (PS Vita), MotorStorm: RC has been a huge success since launching earlier this year in Europe and North America, with SCEE reporting:
* A new MotorStorm: RC event begins somewhere in the world every single second
* 19 downloads of MotorStorm: RC every minute
* At least two new PSN friendships are ignited and two new challenges are sent every minute
* Every 60 seconds, eight PlayStation Trophies are awarded to MotorStorm RC players on their way to earning the prestigious “Lunatics Unite” Platinum Trophy
