i'm not very good at giving descriptions. It's all the goodness of an atelier game within your Vita. have you played any atelier games?
it's a very sweet game with lots of value, it's more challenging in terms of time management than the games i played on the ps3 since you dont carry certain tools to your new game+

Do you need a description of only the Vita version; or a description of Atelier in general?
Rutea's probably the best person to give a reply to that, but I'll back it up a bit with my own thoughts.
It's a very cute game. The story isn't the usual world-saving stuff - it's very small-scale and self contained. The combat is turn-based and surprisingly decent. Exploring the world is done through choosing locations on a map, which you can then visit and collect materials to use for alchemy. The game runs on a set timer; so you can go to certain places at certain times to see special events.
I was very surprised how much I like the Atelier games. They're a good change of pace from the usual JRPG's.
Also: I've been playing the Killzone Merc beta a lot more lately. I really, really like it. I thought I wouldn't because it's Killzone; but I do. Really hoping I get my challenge accepted on this parking ticket now.
I only have a couple of complaints:
- Your team members can shoot enemies you're interrogating. I understand why the enemy's team mates need to be able to do it; but in an interrogation round when some idiot on your team doesn't understand the objectives, it really pisses me off.
- To see the scorecard, you have to wait for your character to look at his arm thing. Takes way too long.
- Aiming isn't quite as quick as I'd like. It's better than I thought it would be, but it's still "Killzone-slow" for me to turn sometimes.
Overall, I love it though :)
Dustforce and FEZ for the vita, nobody's hype for it or what ?
They're two of the best indies games of this past 5 years who were not already available on vita. Get more hyped damn it.
I did SPAM like a monkey gio and shahil ahmad's twitter for The world ends with you remix on ps vita. You should too. This game would fit the vita right.
"- To see the scorecard, you have to wait for your character to look at his arm thing. Takes way too long."
Ahah that's so fucking right. So far I think I'm pretty good at Killzone merc, my ratio must be something like 7 kills for one death. The control are very very intuitive. Throwing a grenade with dpad is a good idea. Except the scorecard shit thing, if I had to complain about one thing that would be the lack of intuitive melee attack.

Crank up the x/y sensitivity in the settings. Two 'notches' above the default is what I'm using.

that's a very good point, atelier games are usually a very personal quest and more focused on getting to know the characters other than a big save the world kind of plot.
they are very lighthearted but extremely entertaining

Whore yourself out on the street corner in the event of losing that ticket war. Worth it, I feel. Is that a break of embargo, a general 'I support it' claim? I certainly hope not. even if so, it's positive reinforcement, so I doubt they'd complain.

Ballsy! And I'm sorely tempted to go in for $10,000 for the dinner with Inafune. |
Will his underage niece be there? The one who got lost at some amusement park after she got transfered inside of a PSP?

For $10k, she'd better be.
