VC is the best game of the entire generation, highly recommend it.

SEGA took a giant turd on the fanbase releasing VC2 on PSP. Sales showed it was a big mistake, piracy way too high in the sysystem and Western PSP userbase was just about dried up.

Hence, no Western VC3.

Japanese sales figures for both hardware and software are now in for the week ranging from January 23rd to January 29th. And while things aren't looking great for Sony in terms of PlayStation Vita sales (or even good, for that matter), sales have improved. Not only did PlayStation Vita sell more during this week than the previous week, but a new Vita release is also near the top of the software charts.

Sales figures translated by Andriasang show the PlayStation Vita having sold 18,942 units during the week in question, an improvement of over 3,700 Vitas from the week before. While still being outsold by Nintendo's 3DS by a ratio of over 4:1, any sign of improvement is a good sign for Sony.

Namco Bandai's Tales of Innocence R, an improved port of the Nintendo DS Tales of Innocence, sold extraordinarily well during this week as well, placing third overall on the software charts. 54,853 games were sold at retail, and that number doesn't take into account digital downloads via the PlayStation Network. No other PlayStation Vita games charted in the top 20 software sales chart.

(Looks like Vita got a nice little boost, Tales of Innocence R did a decent job bringing the system close to 20k for the week)

one japan centric game..even though it's a remake, got good sales (I'm guessing digital included..around 60k at least) and it also boosted hw..and the psp is STILL strong ...it will only get better in the coming months

yep and there's an anime too of Valkyria Chronicles 1..just in case you didn't know

And the anime is pretty good.

Indeed..I haven't watched the anime based on VC 3 yet tho..don't wanna spoiler it..then again..is that even out yet? :S

Wait is the anime based on VC3 or VC1 o.O?

This one is based on VC1, and then there's an OVA based on Valkyria Chronicles 3 :

http://myanimelist.net/anime/9793/Senjou_no_Valkyria_3:_Tagatame_no_Juusou

Guess I'll be watching the anime for the first one and playing the PSP Version of part 2 ;p

The Anime of the first is pretty good and the game too, but the anime seems pretty rushed at the end because was only 26 episodes! For a RPG game based anime is pretty few episodes.... don't miss both! the story of the second is arround 2 or three years later the first one and the story of the third is a parallel story to the first... even characters of the first appears there...

FFtype-0, Black Rock Shooter, patapon series, Disgaea and Disgaea 2, fate/extra, persona 2 and 3, jeanne d'arc, valkyrie profile, Cladun, Half Minute Heroes and some others games of PSP that I have missed will acompanie my Vita...^^ There's still plety of PSP to play on Vita looking better thanks to THAT OLED!

^il defo buy wipeout later on down the road

also i bet Ridge Racer is an easy platinum.. there are only like 4 tracks?

Still no retail bundles worth giving a crap about here in Australia. $350 for wi-fi and ridge racer is as good as it gets, and frankly that's pretty bad.

The 3DS had some launch bundles months before launch for up to $70 lower than the RRP, so I'm not quite what's going on.

i'm more and more inclined to getting at launch everyday, dont know if i can wait =/

amazon UK has a nice bundle offer but the euro is so low now that i think i'll wait and see what the stores here will offer

wooooo, just pre-orderd my vita!!
