I agree on everything you said mostly aside from you Kinect comments. But on everything else I agree.
- Vita will not sell as well as last gen handhelds did, just look at the 3DS. Price points are too high and too many gamers are switching over to tablets and iphones.
- The Wii U to me just looked awful. The controller is just too damn big to be practical for playing lots of stuff and while I don't doubt that Nintendo will have some great uses for it its clear that Nintendo and I just don't see eye to eye which is fine they'll still get their demographics its just they aren't a company that caters to my tastes anymore.
- Uncharted looked very underwhelming. It litteraly looked like the same game as Uncharted 2. There wasn't a single wow moment during that gameplay.
- Sequels galore like you said. There were only like 2 new IP's announced this entire E3. I just don't understand it are developes that afraid to take a risk or what? It's pathetic.
- Where are all the "big" new game announcements and showing? Where the hell is Alan Wake, Agent, Grand Theft Auto, Heavenly Sword 2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, The Last Guardian, the Pokemon RPG for the Wii U, and countless other things that could have actually been surprising.
Overall all 3 had a lame showing this year. I mean really Sony is acting like taking up stage time to show off 3DTV's and stuff is acceptable instead of showing NEW games and same thing with MS spending SO MUCH time on Kinect. I think Kinect is actually pretty cool but they needed more focus on showing some core controller based games. And Nintendo you can't spend an entire conference only announcing 1 new 3DS game, and a new system without a single actual game.
