I nearly died when you said $150. Hahaha not because I thought you suggested it as a price but it makes me think Nintendo is starting to get outrageous with their prices. $250 3DS oh gosh! Okay I think people have started to go crazy on these boards. No one in their right mind would buy a $100 controller.Would you? I would rather spend $100 on a video game which developers spent hours upon hours pouring their hearts into than a controller.  Heck, $70 is even stretching it but $100?!!!

Lol you got me there bro. Honestly I do believe 70+ for a controller sucks monker balls, but either way as long as there is 4 player with that thing, im happy. But I'd still rather them include the option of Gamecube controllers. I believe that saved the Wii.

All I know is that Nintendo would be stupid to drop this system without the ability to play multiplayer games locally with at least two tablets to a machine.

I get that it would drain the system and that Nintendo is cheap when it comes to hardware, but they can't cheap out on playing experience. They should have learned with the failed experiments of GC and GBA connectivity that doing so won't get them much by going the cheap route.

I mean seriously, it isn't as if they need every game to feature the stream game onto touch screen feature so the idea of it being that much of resource hog is backwash unless the system really is just massively underpowered it can't do what the DS and 3DS software do on multiple titles. Heck, since the original DS dropped some titles have been able to stream vs matches without all parties needing the carts. Now HD graphics are a big difference but once again, no one should go in expecting all games need to display HD on the controller tablet anyway.


Nintendo has no excuse for not at least making the system capable of playing with two tablets will be the death of this console.

If i recall correctly Nintendo is already trying to achieve that.
And if it takes too much from the machine, a lowered framerate might be a solution.

Peripherals are "overpriced", because that's what shops and console makers profit from and they like to profit a lot from that. That's the way this industry works and I can't see Nintendo making an exception for the WiiU, if they decide to support at least 2 WiiU tablets per console and sell it without the console. $80-100 for a standalone tablet looks like a realistic price to me

I really don't like the idea of 2 Wii-U tablets per console. That is a step backwards in a sense. Why not 4? Honestly.

It's funny to see people happy about the Wii's new console & that huge ass controller, but was crying about the first XBOX controller being bulky & big & even sayin the 360's kinda big....But embracing the new Nintendo console & controller...LMFAO if u say so

Lets use common sense here. There is nooo way that you can only get 1 controller per system. There is noooo way that if you break it, you cannot purchase another one. That just won't happen. Nintendo has ALWAYS been a company for allowing a fun gaming experience involving multi players. No company in the world would do that. I don't care what the article says.....common sense prevails.
