If I recall correctly the reason Fatal Frame IV wasn't localized is because Nintendo wanted Tecmo to fix the bugs in the Japanese version at their own expense, and Tecmo wouldn't do it for free... something like that.

what about the other Fatal Frame??? WHat happened there. I played one of them (dont remember which one) on a friend's homebrewed Wii and it had no bugs from what i was playing

The other one hasn't been released yet as far as I know. You probably played the buggy one but didn't trigger any game breaking bug.... It seems like Tecmo games have been having many QA problems this gen. (Other M, Ninja Gaiden 2...)

edit: this isn't to say somebody couldn't have stepped up and fixed the bugs, but from what I understand preventing the localization was an NCL decision. It's strange how they operate, given that now they are having Epic Mickey's camera issues and some other things ironed out for the Japanese release...

Damn, Nintendo WTF! You really needed Pikmin to fill in this holidays somewhat lacy lineup. Makes me feel like Nintendo doesn't care. Couldn't they have released Pikmin 3 and made a different Pikmin 4 for Wii U? It's not like the system specs are similar, why stop producing the Wii game when it's lacking games?

I wonder if they considered doing a dual release like they did with Twilight Princess...

I don't want to have to buy the Wii U until after I see what Sony and Microsoft have planned for next Gen. I have been waiting 4ever for Pikmin 3 on the Wii.(Pikmin 2 is my favorite game ever made)

What I don't understand is if Pikmin is so good for every system Nintendo makes...what is taking Pikmin 3 so long?

LOL...I mean come on now! I hope that Pikmin 3 ends up like Super Smash Bros. 4 and gets both a Wii U & 3DS version. So many of my favorite  games are coming to the 3DS and Pikmin is the only one really not announced yet...my favorites are Pikmin(not on 3DS), Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, Resident Evil, Luigi's Mansion 2. I didn't plan on buying the Wii U any time soon but...

Twilight Princess made sense as duel release as Wii and GCN graphical capabilities are almost identical. I hope they duel release Pikmin 3, just like any SNES/NES games duel released. I mean the engine, and game controls should be similar right?
