PS3 won, if only barely.
Res3+U3+Sly:Thieves+Starhawk beat Halo:CEA+Halo4+Minecraft in my eyes.

Also, Michael, you forgot to include Starhawk.

No, I included Starhawk, look again, but I found out Dust is multiplat so I have to remove that.

BTW, I notice you included UC3 and Res3. Do you have no interest in Gears, Forza, or Ryse?

Must've missed it... sorry man.

Dust WAS on the 360 as well, but was announced as exclusive to the PS3 by Sony... regarding Gears/Ryse/Forza, no, not really. No interest whatsoever in Gears, pretty much anything Kinect, and Gran Turismo 5 keeps my racing needs in check. Two hugeass racing sims are just a bit too much for me.

Dust 514 will have cross platform play exclusivly on Sony. You can play against PC gamers on the PS3, which will probably make a big difference for an MMO type game.

GT5 is awesome, but really you are interested in Resistance, but not Gears? that's unusual since the games are so similar.

Still you're honest, which I like.

lol, let me tell you exactly why MS failed epic at E3.

Hear me out now....

MS only reveals everything at E3, you guys say this yourself, don't you? Now Sony spent 1 hour or so on PS Vita at E3 so ignoring that is a massive fail on your part since if Sony didn't talk about PS Vita they would have talked about the PS3. Its simple.

Sony is not going to site on its a** for the rest of the year, they will be revealing games throughout the year so as far as I am concerned I am not worried. They revealed a big game like Uncharted 3 at VGA last year and starhawk could have been easily revealed at E3 but they didn't. Resistance 3 at gamescom last year as well.

Its a simple thing. We are not going to get anything out of MS anywhere except E3. Sony meanwhile, doesn't take E3 that seriously. Overall presentation is obviously going to be more important in this case. Where MS will obviously have higher expectations since they do reveal big stuff at E3 and nowhere else.

You are talking about Halo? Again, we have seen how many Halo games this gen? Halo 3, ODST, Reach just last year, and now a remastered Halo along with Halo 4, 5 and 6 in the future. That makes it at least 5 halo games this gen. Oh WOW what an unexpected announcement.

That is excluding Halo wars as well.

They also showed every title they showed last E3, like GoW 3, Forza 4, Ryse (they haven't still announced a date for this or an year), so predictable its ridiculous.

Here's the prediction for the next E3 of MS, spoilers if you are excited for it:
MW4 or the next CoD
A couple of multiplats.
Ryse.
Kinect stuff.
Halo 4.
Halo 5 and Forza 5 have a good chance.
And maybe something else to end it all. A new Xbox console maybe.

I dont get what you want to say,  you say for your self that Microsoft show many new Games for the Xbox 360 at E3 far far more than Sony did for PS3. Sony showed only one new Game for PS3 at E3 the new Sly Game and Microsoft showed many new Xbox live Games, they showed Halo HD, Halo4, Witcher 2, Minecraft, Dance Central, Kinect Sports2 and other new Kinect Games,   so why than they had a worse E3 with the Xbox 360 than Sony with the PS3 in your opinion?

Dammit, that was SO CONFUSING! Even on the EVE forums, people are confused.

Gears, I just never dug the atmosphere. It doesn't appeal to me all too much, and I also don't have that many friends to play co-op with. So it drops. Plus, I prefer FPS to TPS.

Thank you for the compliment ;)

Witcher 2 will probably come out on the PS3 as well next year. And it wasn't even shown at E3!

PS3 also had ruins although I am not interested in it, it had DUST 514 which is an exclusive FPS for the PS3 and PS Vita (for those who don't know).

Minecraft ok, that was good, but honestly its not my type of game. But it was pretty good announcement nonetheless, it doesn't add much to the 360 library since its also playable on many other platforms including linux.

Kinect Sports 2, Dance Central 2 etc are all kinect games. You can possibly counter them with PS Vita games like Uncharted Golden Abyss and PS Move games like that medieval thing.

There's also twisted Metal, and ratchet and clank all 4 one on the PS3 that wasn't shown at E3 but are available at the booth if you want to play them.

im sleeping on Nintendo's press conference right now so they all where likely equally borring

Well MS's Press Conference was an hour and a half where Sony still had an hour for PS3. Just because they chose to spend that time pitching a Resistance 3 HDTV bundle, doesn't mean they didn't have time, but good point.

Also MS doesn't always announce everything at E3.Project Draco and Steel Batallion were announced at Tokyo Game show, Forza 4 was announced at the Spike TV Game of the Year awards, and Gears 2 was randomly announced during the year. Halo generally gets an E3 announcment.

I don't think there is enough ground to say Sony will announce games throughout the year, but MS will not, nice try. I will agree with you about Halo, always announced at E3, and they are making too many for 360 now.

However I wouldn't count ODST as a full pledged Halo game, and Halo Wars is a strategy game, very different. 360 so far only has 2 major Halo games, and now 2 more for the future. I don't think the Halo trilogy will all be 360 exclusive, that would mean that in 2014, when a 360 successor is released (latest) 360 will be getting a flagship game, but the successor.

I will agree with you that MS's lineup is very generic, but in reality is Nintendo or Sony that different? Nintendo always focus's on a Mario, Zelda or Metroid title (for Wii, Zelda, for 3DS Zelda, Starfox, Mario, Mario Kart, Luigi, and Kid Icarus), and Sony always focus's on an Uncharted, Resistance, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone, God of War or InFamous title (and they did this year, except for Killzone every one of those games is getting a new installment, biggest PSV games are Uncharted and LBP).

However, with Mass Effect no longer exclusive, MS needs to make a new IP, more desparatly then Sony or Nintendo. Nintendo at least can make so many spin offs, and because it has 4 consoles now, you're going to see IP's reused many times.

So I still think MS won, and I don't agree with your arguement on Sony announcing more titles then MS throughout the year. However I will agree that MS's lineup is more generic then Sony's or Nintendo. Even though, all of them are pretty generic, which is to be expected since they are all well into the lives of their respective consoles.

Well the fact that Sony focused on Vita really stole some of the thunder from PS3. So with that said I think 360 had a better conference than PS3, but Sony had a better overall conference than MicroSoft.

Well, there are exceptions I guess. I haven't ever seen MS announce any game outside E3 except for Gears of War 3. I can't see what they will do now till the next E3, from the last E3 till this year we haven't seen a thing from MS except kinect projects from Japan which we know nothing about. Its possible they will elaborate on it this TGS as well. But its just kinect stuff and kinect stuff are nowhere that interesting to me as much as Gears and Mass Effect are. Ryse going kinect is not helping things either.

Lets not forget that MS will always have a particular game at E3 if its going to be released and is an important title. Even if its not an announcement, they will have it.

They were both pretty meh. However, the 3D HD bundle (perfect for my room), Vita price and games, and all the Interesting Move games (Bioshock, InFamous 2, etc.) gave the edge to me. I think the MS was crowded with too much Kinect. They got some big hitters coming, mainly the two Halo but Kinect has nothing going for it aside, from dance central and maybe ghost recon, that really makes you go WOW. Then again, neither does Move but the games on Move looked better than what MS showed. I think the 360 did worst

I think Microsoft  do not need to develop a real new IP if they only add to there existing Core IPs Halo, Gears of War, Fable and Forza the Alan Wake IP and one of the awesome Rare IPs like Conker than i would be total satisfied. Halo, Gears, Fable, Forza, Alan Wake and Conke that would be a killer core IP line Up, sadly Microsoft completely waste the potential of Rare.
