Which was worse?

X-Box 360 106 71.62%

PlayStation 3 42 28.38%

Total:148

I think many people will agree that the Microsoft Press conference wasn't that special, and the PS3 portion of the Sony Press Conference was also fairly lackluster. Both focued a good amount of already announced upcoming titles, and both lacked new exclusive releases. Which do you think was worse? To make things simple:

Microsoft announced 8 new games, 5 adult themed ones (Halo CE Remake, Halo 4, Fable, Dance Central 2, and Kinect Sports 2), and talked about 4 other larges ones (Gears 3, Forza 4, Star Wars Kinect, Ryse..aka Project Kingdoms). 5 games are Kinect exclusive. Total 9 games.

Sony Announced 5 new PS3 games (Medevil Moves, Sly Cooper, Starhawk, Dust 514, and God of War Collection), and talked about 3 other large titles (Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, and InFamous 2,). One game is a Move exclusive. Total 8 games.

Both devs ignored multiple games.

MS ignored 17 previously announced Kinect titles, of which at least 5 are major (Project Dragon, Steel Batallion, Rise of Nightmares, Codename D, Gears of War: Exile, etc). They also ignored XCOM and MechWarrior.

Sony ignored Agent, The Last Guardian and Twisted Metal.

So which developer was worse?

Microsoft was worse by a large margin, which doesn't say much for Sony, since they didn't announce anything substantial other than the PSV's price point.

EDIT: Sony's 3D TV was pretty surpising too.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

The whole of Sony's conference was better by a large margin. But if it is just 360 vs PS3, Sony only slightly wins.

I would have to say MS was worst because SONY had PSV. I would have to say that if SONY didn't reveal the PSV in jan this would of been an epic e3.

PSV and Bioshock and 3D TV were the highlights of the SONY press conference

But having watched the Ubisoft before hand i have to say that they were better because they had Mr caffeine who was face palm entertaining.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I'd have to say that Sony's press conference was the worse one. It was about an hour too long. I don't care about Playstation branded TVs, and I don't want to be sold 3D glasses. Sony once again wasted time talking about their marketing plans. When they did talk about games they only had a few to announce for PS3. PS Vita had more exclusive titles, but it's just a handheld. Uncharted looks great as always, but Tomb Raider looks to be taking back the action adventure crown. The best news was the reasonable price of the PS Vita. That name is going to take as much time to get used to as the Wii.

Sure Microsoft spent a lot of time talking about Kinect, and I don't care much for Kinect, but the kids are going to love all that stuff. And when MS did start to anounce new games they droped a new Halo trilogy, which for me is the biggest news of the show so far.

There are still a lot days left of E3 and Nintendo still has their show to do so who knows what's going to happen. Right now Microsoft is in the lead and Sony is slightly behind, just slightly.

Microsoft announced 8 new games, 6 adult themed ones (Halo CE Remake, Halo 4, Fable, Minecraft, Dance Central 2, and Kinect Sports 2), and talked about 4 other larges ones (Gears 3, Forza 4, Star Wars Kinect, Ryse..aka Project Kingdoms). Two games are Kinect exclusive. Total 10 games.

MS ignored 17 previously announced Kinect titles, of which at least 5 are major (Project Dragon, Steel Batallion, Rise of Nightmares, Heavy Fire, Gears of War: Exile, etc). They also ignored XCOM and MechWarrior.

Sony ignored Agent, The Last Guardian and Twisted Metal.

You forgote Ruin and ico collection for PS3 as well

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Only comparing PS3 to 360. Are you saying 360 was better then PS3?

I feel this poll will get a lot of pro Sony votes because people can't read...

Ruin is a PS Vita game, ICO Collection was not announced this E3, it's been known for some time.

Why on Earth do you keep referring to Heavy Fire as a major Kinect game? It's a $20 piece of shovelware, and it's even on Wii and PS3 - two systems where you presumably won't have to ride an invisible horse to shoot, a la yesterday's Ghost Recon showing.

MS would be better because despite being Kinect announcements and Halo 4 they had some new annnouncements, SONY announced all there games before E3.
