Android all the way.

Its far more customizable and lower upkeep than anything else.

1. FREE - this is in terms of both hardware and software. iPhone is a rip off when you can get so many other sets of equal or better hardware for free during any particular holiday.

2. Customization - Even without root, Android is far more customizable than anything. iOS is like a brick. You get what Apple tells you to have. WP7 is still in its infancy and I'm sure one day it will grow to be a fully customizable beast as MS is generally good in this department. However, for now, Android is top dog. Especially when you consider the possibilities after being rooted.

I can only think of one negative with Android and its not actually Android or Google to blame but carriers and manufacturers to think they must improve on what is already nearly perfect. If they just focuses on drivers for plain Android along with some special or unique widgets, then there would be no issue. I think this is what Google is going to push for with its latest changes to how it enforces its licensees.

Iphone ios i like how fluent it is for meh.

I use/endorse/like Android, but if I were a developer, I'd hate it.

I worry that Android isn't going to blossom for gaming like iOS has due to fragmentation. Revenue/sales for Android games are absolutely horrible outside of the blockbuster ad-supported games like Angry Birds, so it seems like a pretty bad environment for future games that cost money.

But we'll see. Hopefully Google can make things better. Outside of that, though, I love Android.

iOS, mainly for the vast breadth and depth of apps. It's also nice to have an OS that requires little configuration and gets out of the way so you can enjoy those apps.

If I ever felt my devices didn't do something that I wanted them to do, I'd jailbreak. It's not that hard to do. In two years, I have yet to see a killer app for me on Cydia, so I'm sticking with the fully supported installation.

Been an Android believer since I got my T-Mobile G1 at launch. Nothing Apple does will convince me otherwise.

But yeah, as a developer, Android isn't as attractive because when the Marketplace launched, everything was free. Got spoiled really.

I'm definitely a WP7 guy. It's a smooth and stylized OS that just works from the get go, and I don't need to worry about anything or tamper with anything. It's just awesome.

And the development tools are awesome too!

I like how everyone jumps to "needing to tamper" with android. Its doesn't require any tampering. However unlike others, if You want to make it more personal you can. You can't on ios or anything else.

Windows Phone 7... sexy............
