Thats as much speculation as can be done from these screens which have conjured up more questions than they answered about the battle system.

The stagger meter was very important to the whole concept of the battle system so it would be a disappointment to see it go but I trust them too much to be worried!

One thing that they NEED to keep is that inactive party members still gain EXP.

I am sad to see stagger go, I loved the concept. If its really gone then the whole idea of the battle system has been changed, but yeah I do trust the battle director of the game on this issue, still its odd to see them go. We'll know more on monday.

Stagger is gone? That's actually a step in the right direction to a battle system that doesn't involve mashing X.

I'm actually intrigued.

Nah! I already plannign on getting the Hero's edition.

OT: OMG!!!!! Serah is playable. DAMN! This is the one thing that I long for in FFXIII. Wow! I am speechless. Noel is also cool. Dual sword FTW!!! He looks like Terra from KH:BBS maybe it's the clothes. Hmmm.

Anyways can't freaking wait for this game. I hope to see more on E3.

That's what I thought lol  If you notice, he has the same "Samurai Style" pants as Terra

Here take a look:

Look at Terra's pants.  Now look at the dude from XIII-2:

Also look at how both of their back legs are the exact same when they attack.  The front leg too.  Coincidence?  Or have they run out of ideas?

maibe i dream and did not realy finish the game  ...

I'm not saying you're lying about playing the game, but rather the game gets difficult about halfway through and the battles require a least some form of strategy that varies from pressing 'X'.

Lol i need a new trailer to watch the screens just make me want to fly to japan find square enix and play what ever they have of the game right now lol.
