If the DS was £150 in the UK at some point it must have been at launch... I think the DSlite RRP is either £100 or £110, the DSi RRP is £150 (though most shops sell them for less)

Oh, my mistake, can't find a DSlite RRP, don't think they have many new ones in stock anymore.

Price goes down 50 dollars after the origional release in 2004. 50 dollars in 7 years. That proves how popular the DS is.

Still could end up topping 3DS for the year but this holidays we will see after 3DS gets it's software.

This is not surprise, they intend on shifting the remaining DS Lites and will continue with the remaining DS models potentially until the end of 2012, where the 3DS will take full lead.

DS Lite was never that expensive O_o I bought one at launch for £99 in 2006. I think you're talking about the DSi, that was £150 when it launched. It's only £90 now though.
