I believe the VGChartz ranking rules says that low scores need to be explained, it wasn't, therefore you are justified to remove his score, as long as you remove other trollish scores from the other games and re-calculate the averages.

My score: 9.9

To be honest, for me, is the best game of this gen so far. I don't give a 10, because of replay factor.

Precisely! His argument was flimsier than paper. Story? Please, get some REAL reasons. And the fact he hasn't commented afterwards seals it for me.

Don't forget;

-Graphics were supposed to be amongst the best of the gen

-Gameplay apparantly TOO hard for some

-Bosses...alright, maybe. But that doesn't drag down a score that much

So far the average is 9.313043 if Marco's score is included and 9.5 if it isn't. Just to cool everyone's jets... I'm 90% sure I know 83% of yo_john117's judgement behavior and predict a 93% chance of Marco's score not being included in accordance to the rules laid out.

@ fmjasinski - Your score won't be included as you still have less than 50 posts (in the rules) but you're welcome to keep up the contributions!

As far as I can tell I've seen far worse scores for far better games and no one complained (okay this is subjective but you get the point).

Well I'm just going by the rules and my own judgement. In the end it's not my call and the above was just meant to be a joke as I don't wish to speak on behalf of yo_john117. I'm all for differing opinions and I'd be more than happy to include Marco's contributions to the aggregate score if I feel that they're backed up appropriately (as required for low scores by the rules). Just in my opinion the depth of his contribution here (and Lost Odyssey for that matter) are limited. He makes points that are simple to validate and I'd personally just appreciate if he validated them with a simple sentence or two. For example: Boss battles disappointing - I'd like if he contributed what he found disappointing in them. Were they too easy? Were the controls wonky during them? Was there a specific boss that annoyed him for a particular reason?...

But obviously I'm long winded with my reviews so maybe I just expect a bit more detail. As I said though it's not up to me and I apologize again to yo_john117 if it sounded like I was putting words in his mouth.

"3. If you score a game 5 or under, you have to go into great detail as to why you gave it such a low score."

This rule does not apply as the score is above 5. 

 

Also Marco's English is hard to read as it is. Nobody should be wanting an extensive review :p

Nintendo once again staged a good Jump'n Run, but it lacks the challenges and hardly any development visible. Part 3 will hopefully be a worthy successor to Part 1

Ok from now on if you rate a game this low I want actual details...way more then you have right now (like 4-5 times as much and that goes for anyone with ultra low scores) So you have a couple hours to edit your post before I rank this thread or your score won't be counted.

I know that i'm out because of the rules, but look at my profile, I'm a member since 21/10/2009.

I feel that I need to give my contribuition for the best game of this generation. So, I protest! Haha.
