also to clarify, I think the 3DS is a great system with a lot of potential, I'm also sure it will have a lot of phenomenal games...but right now it has crap. the whole point I was trying to make was that of allt he systems I've ever bought on or around launch, this is the only one I've picked up, played for review purposes....then put down and wanted nothing to do with. Every other system has kept my interest for weeks on end, captivating my attention with their gimmicks or power, this one sits in a pocket in my laptop case beside my PSP and gets no use. To remedy this ailment, I went to Gamestop to get some new games but found nothing even remotely interesting to me. I've never ever had that problem with a console. even the DS had enough gimmicky stuff on it to keep my attention until Mariokart DS came out. this one just has me scratching my head. I'm more interested in playing a DS game on it than any 3DS game.
The point being, I was never trying to push the "3DS sucks" agenda, not until people got hostile with me. you might want to get that checked, guys. Seriously, net-rage is an issue that needs to be resolved amongst male internet users between the ages of 8 and 122.
Also, okr, what I gathered from your most recent post is "Reviewers are not allowed to have opinions, they have to be completely biased and neutral in all aspects." I don't know a single reviewer who doesn't have bias, but every single one of them is able to set that bias aside and write a fair and honest review.

No, Runa, I'm afraid you gathered what you wanted to gather. Please don't insult your own and my intelligence by claiming that I meant that reviewers are not allowed to have an opinion. Even though I don't know you I think I can safely say we're both smarter than that. I literally said reviewers should try to be as objective as possible.
Of course every single person on this planet is allowed to have an opinion on anything, but as a reviewer on a gaming site I think you just shouldn't post things like the bolded sentence above (yes, you did it again):
You don't just say the system has no games that interest you (which would be absolutely fine), you can't help but start your post with "the 3DS is a system with potential but right now it has crap". This is not a sentence I expect from a reviewer - or a good forum member for that matter.
Let's see how I would have worded my current opinion on 3DS for example:
Even tough I'm probably among the biggest DS fans on VGC (I have bought more than 100 DS games), at the moment I'm not interested at all in getting a 3DS for different reasons:
- early lineup, which just isn't for me, no matter how hard I tried to convince myself initially
- my backlog on all my other systems (PC/DS/PSP/Wii/PS3/360)
- not convinced I'll ever enjoy the 3D feature, not convinced a system can or will benefit from 3D
- generally a bit tired of console/handheld gaming at the moment
- tablet gaming caught my interest more than 3DS or NPG, as my beloved point&click adventures seem to go there
I'm even not interested yet in purchasing a 3DS despite Ocarina of Time 3D - one of the best games in one of my most favourite franchises - on the horizon.
So, you see, I have no real reasons to defend a system I'm currently not intested in, but fact is that right now, two months after launch, the 3DS already has:
- one great and one very good fighting game according to reviews and fans of the respective franchises
- Pilotwings, which I heard is at least decent, some franchise fans even seem to really like it
- a good successor to Nintendogs with some new features
- this Ridge Racer game which seems to be good as well
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon which got (imo) surprising good reviews
None of these games interest me in the slightest, but not a single one of these games qualifies as "crap", not even subjectively.
