I think he is saying being effeminate bothers him. It bothers me too. I know plenty of gay people and none them act effeminate. Its weird and off putting. I dont like it either.

And what's the problem with being effeminate?

You are born the way you are, but I think the environment can affect you and even greatly change you in very extreme cases.

It's never a choice though.

It's a lifestyle choice, really do get riled up when people say that they were "born" that way. Am not born to like anime, or orange juice so it really annoys me when people say that.

So what you're kind of saying is that being heterosexual is also a lifestyle choice?

I can answer that if you promise not to ban me.

Like most things, a bit of nature and a bit of nurture.

Being gay isn't 'nature' - because the whole point of sex/attraction is reproduction obviously and support for the young.

It's anti-nature. I know that makes being gay sound like a bad thing, and its not, but thats the way it is.

Anyway I believe its choice. All males are born to enjoy stimulation of the penis; the choice is whether the stimulation is done by a female's front, or another dude's rear end. You chose which is more aesthetically pleasing to you.

You'd be suprised how many people think otherwise and disagree with you. Mostly because they dont wanna sound ''insulting''  and ''homophobic'' (the most twisted word in english language) to gay people, so they say its natural. Anyway, i shouldnt spend any time talking on this matter anymore, zexen will probably ban me.

You can't pick your emotions... "today I'll deicde to be attracted to men for a change". There is no choice involved whatsoever. In fact, we have little control over most things in life.

Your environment shapes your emotions to a very large extent. You develop schema of what is attractive, and then males or females will fulfill this attractive criteria better for you.

If this were true, then there would be no homosexuals (actually, there would be no individuality, or behavioral differences between people for that matter).

Ever heard of place called California?

on the original point, no two people have the exact same surroudings and upbringing (environment), so of course there will be homosexuals and individuality
