wii price cut did nothing =/

The cut just happened in the Americas and hasn't happened in JP or EMEAA yet.

Have Nintendo even officially confirmed a cut for Japan yet?

Adjustments

PS3 down 1k

360 down 1k

Wii up 1k

DS down 1k

PSP down 6k

I think these are just for Japan. Small adjustments happen there all the time because of differences between MC, Famitsu, and Dengeki.

Everything down except the Wii... Funny. Really.
______

On another note. I just checked Gran Turismo 5 numbers.

6,175,912 sold up until May 7th 2011

6,370,000 shipped through December'10

It's selling like 10,000 a Week now, so about 18 Weeks until the game gets another shipment? Sounds reasonable. The shipment numbers should stay at 6.37 Million until we get to like September or something.

Anyway. We seriously got no Americas adjustments?

Where is ethomaz when we need him? ¬_¬

lol would never have thought psp would ever take Wii and 3DS worldwide.

Meh week.

Anyway, Sony just needs to push PSP a little more in USA to save it from last place even after Golden Week boost expires... In the longer term, though, PSN resurrection is of the essence and the most urgent thing, gamers can forgive Sony for a temporary outage, not if it shows it's groping in the dark (although groping in the dark could actually increase Japan sales  ).

Wii isn't in a good shape, but price cut will definitely improve its sales, also in the longer term, if helped by games releases. Anyway, Nintendo can only thank itself for current sales.

PSN being down still seems to have a minimal effect overall, but the numbers are getting low all around. After inFAMOUS 2, nothing will spike until at least Sept time.

I hate to be "that guy" but after all the retailer articles and news and hearing plenty of anecdotal evidence around my parts as well, I have a feeling there will be adjustments to PS3 sales soon. Maybe after May NPD.

LOL...I thought you were going to correct him but your wrong too.(Its ok I get confused sometimes too)

The Wii Price Cut hasn't happened anywhere yet. The Price Cut will happen in America this Sunday(May 15th) so it won't be a part of the sales until the week ending the 21st. In Europe it happens on May 20th and the 1st 2 days on sales will be a part of the week ending May 21st as well.

You could go into a store and pick up a Wii for $169.99 (at least in America) for that last couple of weeks. The $150 price cut hasn't happened yet. So no, there is no confusion.

Most people don't know about the Un-Official Price Cut in America and the official one doesn't happen until May 15th. You made the Wii seem like it was doing these low #'s in America even after the Price Cut...but it didn't happen yet. The real Price Cut will be in ads and much more people will know about it. You can't try to correct somebody with wrong information. They thought the Price Cut in America has already happened and you told him that it has which is wrong.
