was sega actually really involved in the making of the game or is lending some characters of them to nintendo all they did?
if so, does sega make 'good' money on this title?

I just read teh article you linked it says nothign about how many PS2s were shipped it only talks abotu how sony says it sold 5.6 million PS3s as of Novemebr 17 2007 and how 2 million were purchased in the US. I may be blind and missing it but I think you posted the wrong article.

Sony said they have sold 130M ps2's(shipped) in TGS, its just IMPOSSIBLE to find everything I get is ps2 now $!30, ps3 released at $400 etc...

Leo-j, Sony has for years been reporting the amount of produced consoles, so shipped meant send from the factory and not sold to retailer. Those numbers will also have included units they had to replace under warranty and things like that. There is simply no way there are over 10M PS2s lying around in stores.

Ajax, Sega made the game, all Nintendo did was loan at there characters actually. You had it backwards. Yes, Sega's raking in money off of this title.
