man 2 million is absolutely insane. too bad nintendo didn't have 350,000 more wii's available for last week cuz then wii would have taken the console record as well!
end of '08 predictions: wii - 43 million, 360 - 25 million, ps3 - 20 million

Come on, 1.77 to 2.05 million..... that's almost 300k units.... 300k units is close to an averge yearly week for most systems. That means it's a pretty steep record.

that's like beating your 6 minute mile by doing a 5:11 minute mile. It's a BIG difference.
Numbers: Checker Players > Halo Players
Checkers Age and replayability > Halo Age and replayability
Therefore, Checkers > Halo
So, Checkers is a better game than Halo.
What's even more impressive is that Nintendo is posting these sales without a single price cut. How long will it be before they even need to resort to that?

I bet this is an industry-wide single-company record also, 3.5m hardware units in 1 week has to be a record.

I mean they were = with DS for 2005, when 2006 came..
