Yeah, DS is absolutely sick. There is no doubt this thing is going to gobble up in to the 100 millions in a year or two.

My step dad's family witnessed a new DS, about 8 DS games, 4 Wii games, and the Yellow Box.

I don't ask for games for Christmas anymore (since I'm 24) but it was very Nintendo heavy.



Numbers: Checker Players > Halo Players

Checkers Age and replayability > Halo Age and replayability

Therefore, Checkers > Halo

So, Checkers is a better game than Halo.

@ killerman - I live in a student house, we have one DS and 6 PS2s beteween us. second hand PS2 games are from 4 for £10 and DS games second hand are all from £5+

Is there really any practical ceiling to how large the DS market might be? I'm starting to wonder if they might one day be as common as cell phones.

Wasen't the PS2 149$ the year it set the 1.75 record? or was it 179? can't remember, but it was not that expensive.

People has different budget for handhelds and consoles. I am willing to pay $200 for a console does not mean I will pay $200 for a handheld. So if DS win PS2 it may still be on fair ground.
