Isn't it better to still correct the mistake and at least have the total sales right?  Down the line he's going to have to do like a 10 million sales adjustment, how absurd is that?

P.S. Actually, that will reinforce Sony as king of adjustments, biggest one of all time. 

Somehow that doesn't stop them in case of all other consoles ;)

86.01 Million Wii's shipped by the end of March.

According to VGChartz... 85,736,879 sold to retail by the end of March.

I simply do not believe that there were only 300k Wii's on shelves/ships WW, when the console itself was apparently selling 130k per Week.

As a comparison to the 360, which we also have results for...

53.5 Million 360's on shelves/ships WW. 52,944,813 360's SOLD WW. 600k on shelves/ships WW while selling 135k.

Wii needs another adjustment. 300-400k down.

I didn't expect a huge impact from PSN issues but I did expect some.  Very odd to see PS3/PSP at top with PSN down for over a week.

360 still doing well, as ever particularly in US.

Nice to see Portal 2 did so well across PS3/360/PC (I'm making some assumptions on Steam sales I think are fair here) for a game that is quirky, has no shooting or tradition action and is puzzle/story based.

Personally I love games like Portal 2 and I wish the market would put out more of them instead of lots of developers trying - and mostly failing - to conjour up another CoD or Halo or GT.

Portal 2 also shows that if you get key things right you don't need to be worrying about having cutting edge graphics and heavy violence either (not that I mind those, just I want more than those).

The others consoles are new and the data is more easy to get... PS2 is older than VGC... track old sales is harder.

Even PS3 is harder today... look at all adjustments (UP) it receives.

2 types of King, PS3 being the king of UNDERTRACKED and Wii the king of OVERTRACKED.

WTF PS3,PSP 1-2?!?!?!?!??!?!! Golden week apparent on PSP sales holy.

AND Nintendo dead last (Less PS2 obviously). Crazy stuff.

Yes but i'm not talking about old sales. When Sony report goes up it will likely have PS2 shipments around twice the number VGC has and it's like this for some time already.

I doubt they will dominate this holiday.
