My Xbox360 with 4gb feels a bit insulted by you guys... :(

It's okay, it's got its bigger brother to cover for it. Maybe Wii 2 will have a bigger brother to cover for it in time.

I really hope this rumor is false. I was hoping to see enough space to at least offer Gamecube titles from Wii2's shop. A copy of Tales of Symphonia would eat up at least 1/4 of that space. At least give us an option to set up an external drive via USB3 or eSATA.

Did anyone think that just because the internal storage is 8gb doesnt mean it will not include a harddrive ?  It can turn out that the wii successor will both have a 40 gb hd (or whatever) and 8 gb interal storage.  Calm down people, it's just a rumor. We don't know all the facts yet.

8GB is a bit small, but not really. My 360 is the original 20GB model, which only has 14GB if usable space. With DLC from all my favorite games, I need an additional 8GB thumb drive, but I still have 5GB free space at all times.Without DLC 8GB is more then enough.

That said, I don't think this will be a hardcore system. It will appeal to the casual, as casual gamers don't download DLC.

Still 20GB would have been more then appreciated.

I really hope it´s false...otherwise, it´ll be frickin´ 2012, Nintendo!!...there´s no reason why a system launching in 2012 shouldn´t have 1080p support and so little memory space....when this gen started, understandable...but in 2012?...no excuses.

I call bull. But if it is true, Nintendo has failed again. I bought a 1080p tv for 400$. And in 2 years no one is gonna want to see nothing but 1080p. Hell i bet you in two years they will start with 2160p tvs.

This morning I looked into my Cafe, but I didn't find 8GB internal storage. The Rumor must be obviously wrong!!!

I believe the 1080i resolution to be a mistake. It makes no sense at all. Unfortunately, I can see Nintendo releasing the system with only 8 GB of saves' memory. Still, I am more concerned about the amount of RAM and VRAM Café will have.
