I think Nintendo made a big mistake relying too much on no-glasses 3D to drive sales...put the spotlight on games, not hardware features...surprising coming from the only "pure" gaming company left...it´s like Sony that put too much focus on Blu-Ray first, games second at the start of this gen.

I can actually understand the low sales for the 3ds.

Tried it out for the first time on saturday, and WOW journalists couldnt have been more wrong imo. After all the prev e3 hype and hands on previews and reviews...urgh it was the exact opposite! i Found it hard just to look at the screen and understand what it is im looking at!

Disorientating.

Took me a short while to get use to it after that, but stil everytime u move away from the sweetspot it disorientates me again! Such a big difference from my first impression of the ds...way more relaxed and just easier to like(refering to ds here). Plus it was some aeroplane game that i was playing where as the ds is ALWAYS show cased with mario :)

Anyways just offering a possible explanation for the slowish sales...just doesnt have that immediate likeable factor the ds had. Im sure sales will pick along with games support and a better price point.

PS3 is doing great i wonder how badly the psn outage will affect sales next week?? probably not by much though.

nice looks like my prediction (PS3 50m sold by end of April early May) will come true likely next wk!

i should've stuck to my guns and sided with April instead of adding May, but hey it still counts!

Ok, only two things...

1. Awful Conduit 2 sales, and is a shame because the game is way better than the original. A lot of people didn´t know that the game was coming out this week and another big amount of players were more interested in Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat

2. Low 3DS don´t surprise me that much, the device is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE and the games are only average for the moment, later with a lower price and better games the sales can pick up.

Funny, for a second I think I saw 3DS last and Conduit 2 a massive bomb, but nah....

Well, I just looked at the WW sales for 2011 after these adjustments...

Those numbers are... They're great.

These number are even better... PlayStation Family are unbeatable in ADJUSTMENTS.

PS3 is leading by 600k over it near competitor.

3DS dead last must be disappointing for Nintendo and fans alike.  Nintendo may be forced to drop the price before the 3DS is even out a full year.
