I agree WTH is just cause and the other unworth games doing in that list!

replace those with MGS4 or heavy rain or battlefield 2 or dead space 2!

No way MGS4 deserves to be on this list, or battlefield 2.  MGS4 was amazing at its time but has far been passed.  Same thing for the people claiming Uncharted 1.  It was the best when it was released but many games have now passed it.

The ones I think really strike me as missing are Heavy Rain, Alan Wake, and Mass Effect 2.  Those seem like for sure lock ins on a top ten list.

IMO MGS4 and BF bad company 2 still looks amazing and still looks better than a lot of games out there.

So have I, played through both KZ2 and KZ3.. I am giving you reasoning as to why it is "lazy" developing doing a mono-palette, nobody is going to deny that Killzone uses a mono-palette to shade their games. Just my personal opinion, but in no way is KZ2 on the level that C2 is at.

Its NOT lazy to use a single color palette.....when your on an alien planet.

Killzone's not happening on the Earth man, that is Uncharted and crysis. Killzone is happening on some alien planet that is not so good for human inhabitation and imo they have nailed the artistic graphics right on the head with killzone.

The scene and everything is captured perfectly in killzone and to this date it is astonishing to me how the hell did guerilla imagine such an amazing universe. Lightning through the skies, gaseous clouds in the sky, winds blowing throughout the region, sky colour, the water and reflections, the desert, with the quiet feeling that nobody is around you and the insects on top of that, no other game matches the artisitc imagination of Killzone in the top 5 graphical kings.

I prefer the way killzone is. I don't want it to be a rainbow Uncharted copycat, there are other games for that.

That's a fair argument, I'm just against the whole mono-palette feel.. It's less obvious in KZ3, but it is still there. They are both beautiful games and some respects KZ3 is alot better, but in most areas including all distance or outside areas Crysis 2 far exceeds in terms of lighting, balance, and gradient. Anyone, could argue either way I just feel when things appear the same color throughout the entire game with different shades it's very boring and lazy. Since that is what gives the game it's depth and value I just don't feel that you can give a game it's merits based on that fact.

Oh yeah I'm not trying to say MGS4 looks bad by any means, its still a beautiful game, just I don't think its top 10 quality anymore is all.  But still very nice looking and at its release one of if not THE best looking games.

funny i think Tales of vesperia is the better looking game. then uncharted 2. Truthfully if a games visual style lacks to me the fact that is graphics are better looking wont matter. Killzones look was always dry to me so i can never say it looks best or god of war.

not a bad top 10, i would have put uncharted 1 above gears 2 and theres no pgr on there plus no final fantasy 13

I don't like the list.

Alan Wake looks better than Gears of War 2.

God of War 3 looks better than Uncharted and Killzone.

It kind of isn't fair that Killzone was added twice, even though it may very well been deserving, they could have given a chance to a different IP.

Vanquish looks better than Gears of War 2.

Does Dirt 2 look better than Forza 3 and GT5? Don't really now, always thought the other two took that lead.

Just Cause 2 shouldn't be on the list, it's a gorgeous game, but it's gorgeous because it tricks you. From a distance, everything looks fantastic, but as soon as you get closer to the enemies, the buildings, the mountains and the trees, it starts to look rough.

Personally, my list would go like this:

God of War 3

Uncharted 2

Draw between Crysis 2 and Killzone 3 (for the extra controversy)

Dead Space 2

Alan Wake

Vanquish

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 (List seems awfully devoid of Japanese games)

Mass Effect 2 (This game wouldn't be on the list if it wasn't for the alien character models, fuuuuuuuuccckkk).

Final Fantasy 13 (Hate this game, only played it for four hours and then I got bored, looks dope though).

Draw between Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune and Gears of War 2).

I don't know... I think GOd of War shouldn't be first because of disappearing shadows on those finishing kills. I found that weird and lazy (I just saw it on a video some weeks ago so I'm not sure, maybe it was patched).

To be different, i think we should have one list for the worst graphics this gen.

That's what people need to understand, it's a unfriendly planet and people wants flashy colors all over the place.

Plus don't bother with Oblivion, besides trolling anything Sony related (or not X360/PC related) is his hobby apparently.
