lol... Meltdowns? Why would a GTA game appearing on a Nintendo console cause meltdowns? |
Because a lot of Sony fans think they own the franchise?

That doesn't mean anything in a fanboy perception of the reality.

And it can't happen because?...
There's nothing R* would like more than to have their next GTA game on 4 different platforms, more cash.
PS3 exclusive? What a joke. And then miss getting more money from it being multiplatform?

Wasn't the release date for Devil May Cry even sooner?
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

All those games did come out first. But GTAIII outsoild them all and is considered by many to be the systems first 'AAA' title. Or in other words, why they bought the system.
Of course, its not like that across the board. Many people bought the PS2 for MGS2 or FFX. But a lot more seemed to buy it for GTAIII.

It could be a huge core title for a next gen Nintendo console. Something the Wii never really had.

No, "AAA" is used to mean a game with a large budget and hype. "Killer app" is what people buy a system for.
