I dont see why we shouldnt trust his numbers...he is a huge dick-head, but not the kind of guy who hides or makes-up data.

Actually, I think he just focuses on the US, not all of Americas. But like you said, it is his job. At least this time he actually stated US. Sometimes he leaves that part out, which gets some confused who aren't used to Pachter.

Wow his estimates are way higher then what Vgchartz are...but the 360 > Wii > PS3 is just common sense for NPD numbers.

ya if accurate those numbers will bring up the pitifully low ww numbers vgc has for all three consoles this past month substantially. I think all three consoles will end up being adjusted up at least 40k each though probably not as high as patcher's predictions. EMEAA sales have been terrible as well lately. Too bad we don't have any frequent EMEAA numbers from other reliable sources to compare to the vgc numbers, (I'm refering to npd not patcher as a reliable source)

OT:
I hope he's right on these numbers...

cause he gives himself the role of guru and flawless predictor of the industry when his predictions and radical points of view have been proved wrong many times through the years. Apart from that, he is a good source of info and a nice guy I guess!.
