Vgchartz will probably be better since you have sales to back up how popular a game is doing.

Did they take it down or something? My EDF: Insect Armageddon shares were about to make me fake rich, and if I signed up for shitty ass IGN for nothing, I am gonna be ill!

Where did it go? I can't find the IGN stock exchange anywhere now.

I hope vgchartz does something like this soon.

If it's based purely on popularity, it should be easy. IGN trends tend to follow the HD-flavor-of-the-month (currently Crysis 2, if that "most popular games" article is any indication), so all you have to do is follow the big HD multiplats, stay the hell away from Wii, DS, 3DS, and PSP, and you'll profit (you can invest in the huge stuff, like the big PS3 or Xbox exclusives or Call of Duty, but that voids the whole buy-low-sell-high game of it)

And i really think that this is an objective statement, if this whole system is based purely on popularity within the site

But our one will be better as we'll have sales linked to the stock (I assume we will anyway)!
