Now people who do complain, at least have options. I might even pick up one, more battary life means more I don't have to remember to charge it, even if I am not using it (I have problem of not charging things....).

What does the rating of a system mean, if the games that are out are worthless or the best thing ever? The games decide over how good a system is, not the hardware and its features.

Informing people over the hardware and its features is fine, but giving a score is in fact dumb.

He stated that right now the games aren't that strong and that some should wait for a redisign/new games. I thought he adressed that well.

here take your favorite games on the ps3 and move them ALL off the PS3 and make them 360 exclusives now.  Which system is better now?

now what did 360 change?  nothing, it didn't get slimmer, it didn't get more ram, bigger harddrive, quieter, sleeker, ect.  It just got a bunch of great games. 

The only thing worth reviewing a new system on is reviewing their Launch Lineup.

But if the PS3 games were on 360 they would have worse graphics and need extra discs. The hardware allows good games, good games don't make good hardware.


You do know PS3 got a 6/10 from IGN, logic does not exist for that site. He was just point out how stupid it is review hardware. Also good games do make or break the hardware, you could have the best technology, but if you have no support, it will be game over.

I totally disagree. We have gotten to the point where the systems do more than gaming. It would be like just reviewing a cell phone on call quality. That is just stupid. They should review the hardware and post whether it is a smart investment for the price and for the games currently at launch and later coming out, which is what IGN has done well imo.

That's a line you could use for any new system, except maybe a Nintendo home console.

Eh? I hear IGN hates Nintendo, so their score is better than what I expected from what Ive heard about them.

Totally getting it. Game lineup looks godly.



I was gonna put something here, but then I got amnesia. At least that means my chances to be a main character is up.

OMG!  The 3DS may have flaws and may not be a 9 or perfect 10 for EVERYONE!  But it's NINTENDO!  Time to freak the freak out!!

Seriously guys, I'm pulling for the NGP, but I sure as hell don't expect everyone to love it.  Or for every reviewer, IGN included, to give it a 9 or 10.  It'll probably get a score of 7-8, but I'm still getting it.

Another thing that IGN should factor into their score: if someone puts their hands over your eyes, it completely ruins the 3D effects. In fact the 3DS screens become completely unviewable.
