Wouldn't a Sega fan be more interested in the PS3?  Yakuza is the most similar franchise to Shenmue out today, and Valkyria Chronicles was made by the Skies of Arcadia team.  Every other major Sega game has been mutliplatform.

I've never really understood the Dreamcast > 360 connection.  The original Xbox was like an extension of the Dreamcast because of the Shenmue II port and other Sega games, but this generation Sega has definitely favored Sony's console.

Though I suppose the 360 is the SHMUP fans console of choice, much like the Dreamcast, but that is something that would not have applied to the original Xbox.  And that has nothing to do with Sega directly.

@z101  im sorry but after playing Killzone3 with Move i gotta say the Move controller blows the Wiimote out the water when it comes to FPSs. We'll see how HVS does with Conduit 2 and Motion though

No, it's just you who doesn't understand it. But don't worry, I am going to explain it.

The question asked in this thread is whether I prefer the Xbox 360 or PS3, so I answered that out of those two I would pick the PS3 even though its controller is worse, but since it has the more interesting games it wouldn't be that big of a problem.

The context (360 vs. PS3) is pretty clear in this thread, but for some reason you thought that I was comparing the PS3 controller to the Wii controller. What I actually did was comparing the PS3 controller to the 360 controller which makes sense given the nature of this thread.

Alright, alright, fine. Dont poke my eyes out. I just thought you were comparing wii contoller with PS3's controller, jeez

ps3 has a better variety of game's(not to mention the fact that damn near all 360 game's end up going over to the ps3 at the end of the day aswell)and it come's with everything out of the box

 

you cant go online with 360 out of the box without having to spend more money and you cant even browse through the xbox store/marketplace for some game's or even demo's without having to pay

 

you have to PAY to pay for game's off the mrketplace

 

and you cant play the 360 for more than 2 full day's of time without having to come out of you're pocket's to buy more batterie's or a play and charge kit
