why western men have a fetish for boys that look like girls.

I think most people look beyond the way the characters look and accept the fact that it's one of the things in Japanese culture.

This is one thing that was better when sprites were used.  We never had complaints about what characters looked like and people enjoyed the Japanese games for what they were about.

More Western men these days need characters that have bicepts the size of watermelons to feel their masculinity is not in check.


i just prefer more realistic art syles or people, if japanese people looked like that in real life id understand but they dont.

But Japanese Game designers prefer not to use realistic Art in Games like Final Fantasy. For example Final Fantasy's Art Style is based on Super Realism were the Chracters look more real then real so to speak super realism is an Art style that was started in the West and  then brought to Japan then in Japan Super realism and Manga got mixed together to form the super realism Art style the Japanese use today.    

bu most JRPGs use Manga Art for example Dragon Quest, Genso suikoden, The Tales series and so on. Because that is the most popular Art style in Japanese popular culture.

It is said that meany Westerners demean Japanese Games that use Manga or Super realism and the people that play them generally and think that the Western people that like them must be "homosexual" or strange in some way.
