Pop music, by its very definition, IS low brow. It's meant to appeal to the most people possible and therefore, eschews "high brow" elements such as experimentation, complex writing methods, limited-appeal elements, etc.

That doesn't mean pop music is bad.

And if you're trying to prove a point, Lady Gaga is not a good choice, leo. She's a re-clad Madonna for another generation. She's lifting her entire persona and musical act straight from Madonna's playbook.

With that said, I think Gaga is pretty fun and she'd be even better if she shut her fucking hole for five minutes.

Video was... interesting. Lady Gaga is good at freaky.

The music however sounded like rehashed 90's pop.

Her first CD was awesome, tons of fun and a somewhat fresh sound, but this new song is a massive letdown and the video follows that. They are simply bad - IMO! - the song really is something rehashed from the 90's like Rath just said, plus it is absolutely pretentious. Hope the rest of the CD doesn't follow it, but I doubt =/

Pop artists are a dime a dozen, they come and go in popularity quicker than the XFL. I can't wait till the next big thing comes along so people can forget about Lady Gaga. Her music is trash.
