Forums - Gaming Discussion - EA shows the middle finger to the consumer yet again (Madden 3DS related)

On the other hand, you can draw your own plays via the sylus and bottom screen. This is not to say EA should not be ashamed, but at least there is some kind of new gameplay mechanic.

My 3 legged dogg could have come up with that. My Asian grandmother, who has never touched a video game, probably came up with that."Here, draw a god damn line where you want your reciever to go.".

Seriously who at EA comes up with these new gameplay mechanics for Nintendo? Do they have their 5 year old daughters coming up with these clever game play add-ons?

I am WEEzY. You can suck my Nintendo loving BALLS!

Overexaggerated OP leads to overexaggerated thread.

Considering the highest selling Madden game on the DS was 300k, I think EA are playing it safe by not throwing in features onto a game that hasn't really dont well on the DS in the first place...Interestingly enough, the PSP versions of madden have all sold over 500k (except for Madden 11). Only reason I bring that up was because my original theory was that Madden doesn't sell on handhelds in general. x.o

lol so they should put less effort in and hope for similar sales? idk sounds stupid.

Yeah. You're right. Nobody ever dumbs down the handheld version of a franchise that's more popular on home consoles. Especially if that companys name is EA. :)

argh damn it cant tell if thats sarcasm lol. but i was using the ds versions sales not the console versions.

I don't know you.

you porbably don't know many people considering how much time you spend on this website.

i think they play it safe on a new platform.

it's not like they already have a lot of experience with the 3DS regarding it's multiplayer capabilities. Online Multiplayer is one of the most heavily patched game assets these days. They can hardly put out a beta for a system that hasn't even released yet, if that would be possible at all on the 3DS

i guess they will wait and see what is really possible and how it works when the system is actually released before simply releasing a buggy mess and getting even more flame.

besides, i don't see any reason to be upset about this. i could understand this thread if they never said anything about it and you found out after you bought it.

but since you know: you don't want it, don't buy it!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

3DS being new is a shoddy excuse. Take Capcom for example, they already are using streetpass feature on top of multiplayers brawl.

EA by no mean is a small dev that can't afford man power to dig into the 3DS.

Multiplayer is not an arcane art nowadays.

I bet they are just "testing" like they always do on a Nintendo platform and then blame the customers afterward.

lol. It was a bit of sarcasm. :P I am judging it off nonsports games but the portable versions of other games don't tend to be that great. To be honest, someone made a good point. They are releasing Madden 11 on the 3DS at launch and will likely have a version with all the features come out when Madden 12 hits the stores

well yea thats a good point.

No seriously, my name is Ted Moseby...

OT: Meh. I never really expected much from EA, so I am not disappointed.

LOL, I wasn't doubting it, I was just alluding to the risk of associating on the net your true name to some of your tastes that can be commercially appealing to spammers.
