It's their own fault. They've been building up the Musou base on PS3 since March 2007... I'm not sure what they expected coming so late to Wii, and with just one game?

No, the Wii game is an expansion pack for the original SW3, while the PS3 game is both SW3 and the expansion together on one disc. There's some other minor content differences though, and of course the PS3 game runs in HD, the Wii game has Wiimote control options.

SW did really well on the ps3 it seems then..wonder how DW7 will do, should be interesting

DW is traditionally much more popular in Japan, so I'd expect DW7 to do a bit better. It's also an entirely new release, while SW3 already sold 270k on Wii in 2009. Musou games in general are down this gen though... the best selling PS3 Musou (Hokuto) is less than half what the top PS2 Musou (DW4) managed sales wise.
