Nintendo, Team Ico, Bioware

pwin´ every other villain since 1994
Bioware: They are the best Action-RPG makers in the industry.
Naughty Dog: They are able not only to make awesome games, but also try new things
Epic: GEARS OF WAR and now Bulletstorm, they are a awesome studio
Bungie: Their love, passion and care for what they do.
i think these are the best right now, but might be other that i don't remember, i like Lionhead a lot, but i don't think they deserve to be among the best (yet).

Quite serious. Though the team is sadly diminished, their efforts go sadly underappreciated because a dedicated corps of haters keeps them down, and any team that created NiGHTS, Phantasy Star Online, and Sonic Adventure 2 (aka the second best game of all time barring only Metroid Prime) deserves accolades second only to the impeccably superior Nintendo |
I just meant that SONIC TEAM have not been good for a long time that's all I liked there Games in the past but when Naka Yuji and other founding members left they were just a empty shell.

Debatable. I mean Naka's last days there showed the worst of the studio's output: Shadow and 2006 (at least i think he helmed 2006, not sure), but since then they've rebounded neatly with Unleashed, NiGHTS 2, Secret Rings, Black Knight (which was solid, if gimmicky), and Colors
If only they were doing PSO2...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
The best developer in the world is Nintendo EAD Kyoto hands down. My other favorite developer (Ensemble Studios) is no more. I would also say Nintendo EAD Tokyo is also pretty darn good.Bungie is also pretty damn good and I also loved Infinity Ward (Not sure if I still do). I used to love Rare but they suck now.
As for the best developer in the games industry. Shigeru Miyamoto is by far the gaming God. Their is no single game developer or exec capable of challenging his position.
Also some said Blizzard, but isn't Blizzard several development studios? I always thought they were a publisher prior to Activision taking over and not a single studio.

Intelligent Systems and Nintendo EAD
Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?
It's easily Bioware. They are the gods of gaming!

They just put uncreative new monster instead of improving the game itself. They certain are one of the most greedy developers. Slightly more than Activision. The fact is: they make A LOT of money and they don't reinvest that on the game itself. They could at least invest like 5% of the revenue that they get, instead of probably less than 1%. I think that Nintendo could modernize Gamefreak a little more. What would be cool is if Nintendo made a spin-off Pokemon with a Third-Party dev like Level-5. Another problem is the yearly releases for the franchise. A Pokemon game will never have the same personality and impact as the Blu/Red. It turned out to be a single-player experience instead of playing with friends. IMO Nintendo should make only 1 pokemon X/Y for 3DS. |
Please tell me you're not serious.
You are using a screenshot from a fake game, based of a GBA game, to illustrate Game Freak in 2011. Why didn't you use a screenshot from Black/White? You either don't know that much about Pokemon, and aren't aware of Black/White or just what to spread an anti-Pokemon/Game Freak sentiment.
Something like this would be far more appropriate (I'm using Japan release years):
1996:
2010:
And you talk about 'yearly releases', but that fact is that the main line games are released at what I would consider good lengthed intervals (1996, 1999, 2002, 2006, 2010). Spin offs are released practically ever year, but one shouldn't count them when talking about Game Freak as they don't develop many, if any of them. For example the Mystery Dungeon games are developed by Chunsoft and Pokemon Colloseum by Genius Sonority.
And there is a good chance that only one new Pokemon generation will be on the 3DS, given how 3/4 years between Gens is looking standard and how Black/White are being released right at the end of the DS' life.

Probably Miyamoto devs then Valve then Blizzard. Noone else really comes close, you're kidding yourself unless you're strictly talking about personal likes/dislikes.
Tease.

I agree GameFreak is definatly one of the best RPG developers if not the best. But I personally think their lack of ability to produce a fully 3D game is a point against them. However Onibaka was insaine for passing off a fake screen and not using logic. I can't wait for GameFreak to bring Pokemon to 3DS, what would be really cool is if Pokemon: Grey was on 3DS.
