I'd play Chrono Cross, and just go to the world map in order to behold the magnificent graphism (well, as a PS1 game) alongside that genious music from Yasunori Mitsuda.

Then I could die peacefully.

So true. I loved Chrono Trigger, but had no knowledge of a sequel...

Is it better than the excellent original?

CC is my favorite game of all time, it's a much more mature and deep game than CT, with a brillant score (better than CT, IMO) and fantastic graphx ( it tops FF9).

45 characters to find and make join your team, an epic story, etc.

Really? Now that sounds like my sorta game!

45 characters, now, that's a lot...

hmmm...though i love RPGs I wouldnt play one because obviously they take far more than an hour to beat let alone get to the main story lol

I would chose Uncharted 2, because it's one of those games with chapter selection, and with Drake and Sully's wits along with Elena and Chloe's charm would but a smile on my face before i die

or maybe littlebigplanet so me and my girl can play something together that we both like and spend our last moments together.

So sweet. That's why it's a difficult topic. It's not the "best game ever", but "the most enjoyable game ever". Which is something I don't think many people hit upon

As mentioned, the key point to remember is that it's not just your favourite game, it's the game you garner the most enjoyment from. Clearly that's putting people off :/

I'd probably play Homefront so I could compare its ridiculously improbable storyline with yours.

I like Homefront's premise and storyline....:(

I liked the story! And I would play MK Wii too!

Above: still the best game of the year.

Good. I'm glad I'm not the only one who;d play that game!

There's just something about it that makes it so infinitely re-playable, and I can't think of any better game to be my last, as it were

(I'm glad you liked the story, as I said, it took me a long time to put all the pieces together to make a cohearant package!)
