I miss the days of people saying 360 can't handle Killzone 2 graphics. Whats next, 360 can't handle Killzone 3 graphics?

Anyhow, Crysis 2 is much easier on the eyes. But maybe I'm jaded because I wasn't blown away by the graphics. I don't think it looked much better than Bad Company 2. Perhaps the most impressive visuals are in the campaign.

I really can't tell if Killzone 2 looks better because its dark and it has a diarrhea color palette.

common sense states PCs are stronger hardware then consoles.

No, like I said, just nobody cares.  Only people who care more about fanboy wars say stuff like "this game is better on PC" or "this PC game looks better than all console games".  The rest of us just play whatever we enjoy playing.

I recommend you give that a shot sometime.

Crisis 2 looks photo realistic while KZ2 looks great and has dust blowing around and it has a sense of atmosphire. Thats why I think KZ2 is the better looking game. Theres more going on in KZ2 and it has better kill animations and blood splatters.

KZ3 is gonna blow Crisis 2 out of the water

Realism is the name of the game. Even Killzone is trying to create a realistic fictional world. Its a matter of how realistic the devs can make the games.

And I doubt it, Crysis and Crysis: Warhead were amazing games better then Killzone 2. It won't compare to Crysis 2 in anyway. It will still be fun though, I'll get it eventually.

Still even Crysis 2 is going to suck compared to an extremely well done shooters like Battlefield 3 and Half-Life 2: Episode 3. And the next Unreal Tournament will be just as good too.

Anyways, in regards to the original post I think the tech powering Crysis 2 is more impressive from a sheer number crunching, dynamic, and simulation regard. Having said that, the guys at Guerilla have really done a great job in mixing some great tech and artistic vision to make their games very visually cohesive.


They do a great job with limited resources. If the PS3/360 had 1Gb of ram instead of 512mb we would be seeing way better visuals all around.
