The Last Story is more likely coming to PS3 than in the West lol!

Meaning that there's a negative percent chance of it coming to the West? Because it has a 0% chance of coming to PS3

Actually, the chance of TLS coming to the west is the square root of -1

...a nice way to say... "illogical"?

Anyway, Nintendo's rebuttal is very pleasant...

isn't it i?

i² = -1

well if i recall classes from 13 years ago...

so he's actually claiming to be the one chance of it comming to the west!!

well considering how the first statement was treated as fact by some, I think we should all start proclaiming that TLS is confirmed for Europe now.

Who would trust the french.. >_>

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

yes that means last story definately has a chance of coming across, i will actually rebuy a wii again just for this one game, hopefully xenoblade will come as well, and while we are at it i demand a wk2 release date for the west for ps3:-p

it's the future of handheld

I don't get the point of waiting a game to be completed before starting to localise it. How hard can it be to simply translate something as it's done?

Well I imagine there are lots of hurdles that come with the complexity of game development.

For one thing, you might have to make sure all the text doesn't interfere with the gameplay somehow (and trust me, there have been bugs in games from less).

For another, game development might affect what happens in the script, which could mean major rewrites just in the native language.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Yes, I realise that, but it still sounds like it wouldn't cost that much more, unless the game goes trough severe rewrittings, but then again I don't mean they should translate since the begining, but say halfway trhough development or a bit later.

Better trust the french than the english, I worked in both countries and I confirm the latter ^^

To stop racism pyramids, I'd like to say that it still unconfirmed, but all the fuss about The Last Story these days are just base on misinformation and misunderstanding. Can a proper journalism interview Ninty and get an official statement on the subject ?

Kudos to the professionalsim of all parties /sarcasm

I must say, this is great news, but unexpected? No. We all pretty much knew that this game would eventually come out over here. It was too big budget otherwise. I also see this and Xenoblade being announced at E3, to come to the west

Infact, I've predicted this in my thread I'm so confident. Prove me wrong

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

With rumors about Zelda being pushed to November, I think Xenoblade might fill it's original Q2 slot.  Hopefully we get an announcement at the end of March with Nintendo's financials.

Europe's rumored to be getting Reginliev this year now too btw... lucky bastards. ;_;
