I'll say it here and now. Nintendo you can go fuck yourself. You're dead to me.
Could this be a reaction to the failure of Other M? I'm pretty sure Nintendo lost money on that one...

Basically, the 'confirmation' article comes from an interpretation from a UK NOE representative (Eurogamer's). Since when NOE does anything in Big N strategy ?
An interesting perspective if actually true (as far as "we're never bringing the Last Story over" versus "we're not bringing the Last Story over *now*"). Given that this is as high-profile, high-production value JRPG as the Wii is going to get, it would pretty much mean that Nintendo feels there is no market for RPGs on the Wii in the West, which would then lead to the outside possibility of Dragon Quest X ending up Japan-exclusive, since Square Enix seems to have given up localizing that series, and if Nintendo doesn't think it's viable...
Though Yarton's right, to a point, simply in that Last Story would be hard for me to cram in this year, and as far as finding things to play, there's no way i'm going to really miss it

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
If the game does well in JP I'm sure they will bring it over. They would be stupid not to with the demand for the game

SE will have it localized no matter what. DQ IX sold over 1M in the west. They aren't going to pass on that.

I think the problem is getting those 12,000 (can't remember actual figures) lines voice acted. Personally if I don't hear anything announced within one year, I will be greatly disappointed. I am not the type to jump the gun like everyone else here (some do it because they just don't like Nintendo in general), not after Yakuza 3 and 4 games made it over.
