If she does travel back in time, it would allow XIII-2 to have towns. If you combine that with dungeon maps that aren't in straight line and actual sidequests. Even I'd consider picking the game up. I'd have to play it first though. I'm already out of $60 for the first tragedy of a game.

Interesting idea. While I wasn't mad that XIII didn't have towns. I would like to see them come back in XIII-2. Since they are going back in time it probably will not be as hard to make since they shouldn't be super technologically advanced yet.

Going back in time makes sense since it is really the only way to save Fang and Vanille.

Stop the threat in the past that way it never happens in the future. If they save them in the present and they de-crystallize Cocoon will fall down. 

I have no idea why people still pay attention to these games, they were fantastic up until FFX then they became Square Enix and there hasnt been a great FF game since. People should just drop it like they did with Crash Bandicoot.
