I really liked it. I'm also surprised at the people criticizing the technical merits of a Youtube video created by one person and his experiences with Nintendo.

I also liked it. Amazing to see how touchy some people could get by a simple video - it's like they simply cannot understand there are different points of view in certain things and simply throw it at the bucket without a second thought. It ressembles religious/atheist fanatism to a certain point. 

You know something gotta be good when people either hate or love it. 

I think people are missing the point of the video, so I'll post the point I got, that some other guy on Gaf got as well:

Mario wants to finally save Peach and save her from the constant abuse she's suffered through all the games, Reggie forcing him back into the Mario world using the pipe and glove, Miyamoto realising what he had done was wrong and attacking Reggie (who is the marketing spiel) and I can probably go on, but I have a feeling that whatever I say will be attacked by some people and they'll take the video as some sort of negative thing, which it isn't.

It might all be a joke. The creator was a former worker at Lionhead apparently and his a pretty talented artist in the gaming industry, his got a twitter and he posts all these weird pictures and statements, but they might have nothing to do with him as a person. This video might have been created to attack the 'hardcore' crowd for a having such a weird belief.

And I thought it was really an attack on Nintendo based on most of the reactions (I didn't open the video description, so I assumed), albeit as a joke.

I guess people here really do need to chill out.

There are no reasons to get upset about a video made by an artist who had a message (or not? We don't really know) to share. The video is well made. It's no Pixar (I mean come on) but there's something cool about the art and the animation.

Some of you should be more open-minded. Especially you maxwell as you are a mod and a voice of the community.

Piss on the community. We don't elect our mods, ioi appoints them. And anyone else with a red name too.

And yes, I realize I am apart of said community, but I hate myself. There I said it.
