That's the point of the video. Mario is being used to satiate any criticisms that nintendo has killed the core gamer. He's a prostitute. A two-bit whore for Nintendo that they have elected to use, abuse, and make filthy with their non-gaming taint. But when they get criticized for the direction that they are leading the industry, they can point to the abused Mario half-corpse in the closet and say, 'Look! Look what we have given you! Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained!'

Mario wants to finally save Peach and save her from the constant abuse she's suffered through all the games, Reggie forcing him back into the Mario world using the pipe and glove, Miyamoto realising what he had done was wrong and attacking Reggie (who is the marketing spiel) and I can probably go on, but I have a feeling that whatever I say will be attacked by some people and they'll take the video as some sort of negative thing, which it isn't.

It might all be a joke. The creator was a former worker at Lionhead apparently and his a pretty talented artist in the gaming industry, his got a twitter and he posts all these weird pictures and statements, but they might have nothing to do with him as a person. This video might have been created to attack the 'hardcore' crowd for a having such a weird belief.

Interesting...so it probably was a satirical take on all the criticisms.

And I thought it was really an attack on Nintendo based on most of the reactions (I didn't open the video description, so I assumed), albeit as a joke.

I guess people here really do need to chill out.
