which is more likely to entice buyers to purchase the respective console?  will kinect cause more people to buy an xbox 360 or will ps3's exclusive titles cause more people to buy a ps3?  i think this is actually a pretty interesting topic.  i cant even decide which will sell more cuz kinect has a good bit of momentum and ps3's exclusives list is almost legendary.  discuss.

Please make a list with Kinect games... I know just few titles for make a point.

We might think those games are shovel-ware, doesn't think the new audience, the casuals will too. The attach rates for good games are relatively high at the present taking the userbase argument into account, so the sales will likely be even higher next year.

You do realise that Microsoft has not announced their full line up yet yes? Can we have that convo when this happens?

At this point in a consoles lifespan, exclusives matter a lot less than many here think.  Since Kinect has a lot of momentum coming into 2011, I don't see things changing.  While most hard core gamers will enjoy great exclusives (for either console) most of them already have purchased a console and really won't need to purchase another.

Not much to debate...  So far in the PS3's lifetime, most of the exclusives have failed to spur much activity.  In most cases, like mentioned above, the hardcore gamers have already bought in.  So, the lemmings/general populace are buying based on trends (the Wii the past 4 years).   So, the Kinect will definitely produce more system sales.

i am happy i am Asian because so many game i already played and i love to play visual novel...hehe

Kinect is more enticing because the masses are more easily targeted and influenced.

At this point in the PS3's life, exclusive have less and less impact on hardware uptake because many of those would be consumers have already bought a PS3.   Kinect being new still has a larger pool of consumers.  So it's not a fair comparison to start with.
