These number are from 2 weeks after release... shipped numbers.

In the conferece the guy said "5.5 million, 2 weeks after release".

Investor Relations.  It's what all the fincancial docs and reports fall under, Sony reports that for investors.

Yeah, it's getting tiring how everything Sony is perpetually undertracked because they suppossedly sell HUGE in markets no one can name. :/

Nintendo doesn't even report iQue GBA or DS figures themselves (so we have NO insight as to the true shipment figures for either system total, DS could very well be past 150m right now for all we know), but you don't see all the Nintendo fans screaming undertracked all the time...

When he mentioned the number, he followed it by "2 Weeks after release". So basically it was at 5.5 Shipped by early December. A full Month gone by with the exact same number would be... Strange.

That's wrong... see the video with keynote he said "GT5 sold 5.5 million copies worldwide, two weeks after release".
