Since you seem to have some trouble anylysing facts on basic logic level I'll do this for you.

The whole problem exists because that DLC isn't on disk.

I still call BS on that as a reason. Battlefield Bad Company 2 for instance onlya couple weeks ago released a 1.7GB mandatory patch most of which was for the VIetnam exansion (when you buy Vietnam it is just a tiny unock file).  Vietnam is £10, to buy all SSFIV costumes would be I think £22.40, or about £15 as a bundle when that releases in April or so.  The SSFIV costume are only about 350MB in total, so the costs for releasing them are not only a lot less than BF but the money to be made would be significantly more also.  BF runs dedicated servers to.

Capcom just cheaping out and using Sony as a excuse.

No one will buy them if cannot let others see them, evidently most people agree with this since the previous two sets of costume you'd see people using often but I haven't bought any of these and never get the messae that someone using a costume I do not have.

there were quite a few fixes to basic BFBC in there dealing with hit counters, weapons changes (check out the m14mod, and the g3 you can add scops now)  they broke a few things too shot guns are even more ridiculous now. so they snuck in the update with a patch... didnt that patch also have the classic maps added i cant remember

...Capcom must just be incredibly tight/cheap.

Actually, it's Sony that's incredibly tight/cheap.  Neither Nintendo or Microsoft charge the publisher for free downloads, why should Sony?

Nintendo doesn't do DLC except on 42MB limit games.  Whoo I bet those costs are high.  Microsoft charges its playerbase instead.

Eh, Nintendo does DLC on retail games too.  Even paid DLC like in Tales of Graces (costume packs just like... well, SSF4).  Remember that whole "research" thing? ;)

Sony's scamming pubs, charging them for services that are free on competitor's platform.  All there is to it, but at least direct your bitching properly.

Wasn't there a story last year about how Sony was going to start charging publishers bandwidth fees on DLC? When Seth Killian gave his explanation, I immediately thought about that article.

How come Capcom is incredibly tight/cheap and not Sony? it's hard to remember which companies we are supposed to hate on the forums...

He's probably talking about the other DLC packs on SSFIV that you CAN see and this is the first pack you can't see haha scroll up someone explained it.

This is VGC and Sony can do no wrong. I mean seriously when you have people defending Sony for removing features from their PS3's after the fact, you know that Sony will never get the blame around here.

Eh I get that from all three bases, example people defended the increased cost of Xbox live, others that defend friend codes, it just varies by how many of these crazed zealots each console has, and some bases of those types of fans are bigger than others.
