It obliterated their 600K projection.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Do you think sales will die when the holiday rush ends?
WOW! Wii went into beast mode. Great numbers all around.
HAPPY NEW YEAR VGChartzers!
Very nice 360 numbers.
PS3...meh...GT5 did lower than I expected this week, was expecting like 250k.May not hit 5M by year's end after all :(.FLOP!
Sports Champions doing great.
Black Ops keeps doing above expectations.
Halo Reach also had a great week.
Kudos to the 360 for having another 1M week.I hope the PS3 does the same numbers next year with a price-cut :).
360 beastin' it 2 weeks in a row, awesome holiday for it and Kinect. And that's the end of the fun numbers for quite a while now.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

What's wierd was it's sales shooting up to 390k last week, kinda evens each out.

I think pretty much everybody agreed that Epic Mickey was the perfect game for the Wii.
Unless you have some kind of a proof? Otherwise you're just baiting.
Excellent week and WOW @Wii!

Consider it this way: the decrease from the peak is a lot slower than the ascent to it, so Wii should enjoy at least a total of 7 years with sales strong enough to be Nintendo's main console, and most probably keeping the leadership in yearly sales too, but even after Wii2 release it could sell a lot as entry level for another 2-3 years or more, if Nintendo wants to keep on selling it. If the sales curve keeps on going this way, Ninty won't need to launch Wii2 before Autumn 2013, easily exceeding 120M units sold by then (and >140M, even >150M lifetime adding 2-3 years as entry level, for a total of 9-10 years lifecycle).

it's called stealth adjustment, and that 700k for the 360 is aswell.
