How about not drinking, getting drunk, and littering the streets like a vagabond? Where are the actual vagabonds suppose to sleep, if all these drunk bums pass out on the street???

Sigh, the american legal system...ain't it great?

Well if they do those types of things then fine. I'm talking about people that are not drunks trying to get home the safe way.  people with homes and jobs that like to have fun sometimes on the weekend.

They should have someone who doesn't drink woth them, who can take them home safely (it could be dangerous if they pass out on the street).

SO AT THAT POINT YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE WHAT LAW TO BREAK, THERE IS NO WAY AROUND IT. SO IT IS A STUPID LAW AND THEY SHOULD ONLY INFORCE DEORDERLY CONDUCT IF THEY ARE CAUSING PROBLEMS. WHICH THEY DO WITH STRAIGHT PEOPLE. IF YOU ARE A PROBLEM THEN YOU SHOULD GET IN TROUBLE. NOT IF YOU ARE JUST DRUNK, MINDING YOUR OWN BUISNESS AND KEEPING WELL WITH IN CONTROL AND MAKING YOUR WAY HOME.

I love the discrimination in the US legal system.

Man commits murder = 25 years to life or the death penalty; Woman commits murder = 10 to 30 years (depending on how good her attorney is in arguing she was a battered woman / victim of sexual assault at a young age)

Male teacher has sexual relations with a student = automatic 15 to 20 years; Female teacher has sexual relations with a student = oh boys dream of that stuff at that age. Lets slap her hand with 5 years and call it even.

Husband snoops on wife email = 5 years; Wife snoops on husband email = She is just making sure he isn't visiting any content that could hurt the children. Case gets tossed by a judge.

I couldn't be more sarcastic, but the examples I listed above I have seen in reality especially considering murder with all the ludicrous "Oh I was a battered woman...the HORROR!" nonsense and female teachers getting off easy compared to male teachers when they get curious like Curious George.

If the sexes are equal, then the punishment for the crime should be equal. Either that, or every man up for murder should argue he was molested by a Catholic priest. This would put men almost even on the "I'm a battered woman" argument scale for mitigating factors.

 I didn't say a person with a drinking problem. Only people with drinking problems pass out on the street. I have always made it to my bed.  So have all my friends. I think you might be to young to release the difference. It's obvious people don't do this, maybe you live in a town that this happens but I don't.

I have worked at bars for some time and I have never seen a person pass out in the street. Most people that don't drink, don't got to bars for fun. Thats like going to a gay bar and your not gay.  Maybe some might but usually not.
