Can I ask a question to the Americans in this forum? Do the court system in America take a decent fee to make trials (On the side of the person suing)? or does it just look like no fees are involved so people can practically sue anyone for anything, which is a huge waste of time on the courts part. 

I could see how he deserves some type of consequence for that, but 5 years? Isn't that around what you get for stuff like assault or manslaughter? WTF?

Wait this is a public case....sorry I always keep forgetting you can't sue people into jail. Or am I still confused?
